We just wanted to know how happy we have been with the addition that you put on our house a couple of years ago. The two 20’ x 20’ rooms are, by far, our favorite rooms in the house.
The Great Room is so enjoyable to sit in. The seven windows, and two skylights make it so beautifully lit all day long. We never feel any drafts from the windows... everything is solid as a rock. The floor boards never creak like they do in other rooms in our house. And we have never heard the usual settling noises, like we did when our house was first built.
We admire your work ethic as well. The addition was built in a very timely manner. You and your assistants worked very hard, no matter what the weather was.

"You're the only one we'll trust our old house to!"
We always wanted to live in an "antique" house - so much so that we suscribed to Preservation magazine just for the property listings. When we moved to New Hampshire in 1997, we were lucky enough to find a brick-ended 1799 Cape in Dover, NH. The house was in liveable condition, but needed serious work. When we asked a a local lumberyard owner who we should work with, he suggested Tim Lawler at Premier Builders. That was very good advice.
Tim worked with us to outline priorities and break the renovation/updating into affordable projects that we could accomplish over time. Over the years Tim and Premier Builders have replaced the roof, installed a basement bulkhead and door, installed a new bathroom (including structural work), reworked the living room area to expose original ceiling rafters/beams, installed a metal roof on our chicken coop/work shed, and rebuilt and sidied an attached garage and mudroom.
In every one of these projects, Tim has uncovered some surprises which required changes in plans. He has always been straight forward in explaining our options: positive, negatives, and costs for each. With his expertise, we have been able to realize our goals for the house at reasonable and predictable costs.
We trusted Tim to replace and enlarge the bathroom while we were on vacation in Ireland and not able to be involved. When we returned home, our bathroom was completed exactly in the manner we wished.
Most of the high priority work is now done. There are a few more projects to be completed in the next few years. Tim Lawler is the only contractor we will trust our old house to!
